Saturday and Sunday Teams
1st Team
After achieving promotion last season, the first team will be playing in the B Division of the Devon League in 2025. This includes teams from all over Devon and will provide a new level of challenge for the players. With a new Captain, Sam Reddick, as well as some fresh recruits, including an overseas player, the first team has talent in abundance and are hoping to capitalise and build on last year’s success.
2nd Team
Not to be undone, the 2nd team also gained promotion last season, moving up to the D Division East of the Devon League. Led by Captain Ed Holmes, the second team have worked hard over successive seasons to create a squad of talented cricketers. The club’s ethos on grass roots cricket ensures that we also select youth players when the time is right, to aid their transition into adult cricket.
Kelsey Team
Our Sunday team is named after our home ground and the man that ensured cricket could and would always be played in Braunton. With a change of Captain for the 2025 season, the team will be led by Kim Evers, a stalwart of the game and a great ambassador for our club. The Kelsey team is a breeding ground for our youth members wishing to compete alongside nurturing adults in the 2nd Division of the NDL.
